A Mexico-born reporter with print, broadcast and wire service experience currently in Washington DC with the BBC after working in the Middle East for about six years, most recently with Arabian Business magazine in Dubai.
Before taking up the Dubai job, he worked as a producer on the Reuters Latin American TV desk in Washington DC, from where he moved to New York to cover City Hall, the NYPD, and court cases as a text reporter for Reuters news service.
In 2012, he moved to his native Mexico (I’m a citizen of Mexico, Germany and the U.S.), first for Reuters TV and then as a freelance journalist writing for a variety of publications, including GlobalPost and Fox Latino.
