From street art collective to global brand design agency
Our journey began in the screenprinting rooms of the London College of Printing in 2001.
We shared a passion for evoking joy through public art, so we spent our nights flypostering the empty walls and derelict buildings of London.

Vault49 was born.
The moniker references the cupboard under the stairs of our student house at 49 Addington Square, where we kept our street art materials (the Vault).
Our big break came when we captured the attention of global street and style magazine Dazed & Confused.
Commissions followed, doors opened, and New York was calling.
We wanted an environment that celebrated multidisciplinary creativity, craft, and collaboration.
But we couldn't find this anywhere, so we created it for ourselves by opening Vault49 New York.
In 2019, we expanded further with a second studio in London.
