          Binabiba is a Ph.D. Candidate in Mass Communication at the Department of Media Arts and Studies. She holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the University of Ghana, focusing on Theatre for Development, and a Master's in International Development from Ohio University with a concentration on gender and development.

          Her dissertation explores the impact of digital humanitarianism and social media on humanitarian responses during crises, with scholarly interests in the intersections of digital media, humanitarianism, and vulnerable populations.
